The entrance is easy to miss: a flagged yard of whitewashed brick and old pantile roofs, roughly opposite the old market place. Follow the signboards down the alleyway and there is far more room than you would guess. A low beamed dining room, a comfortable lounge, and a courtyard with festoon bulbs, planters and climbing greenery for sunny days.
A bistro and coffee shop tucked into a paved yard off Church Street in Whitby. Breakfast, brunch, sandwiches and homemade cakes, with a sheltered courtyard and well behaved dogs welcome in the lounge.
We use locally sourced ingredients so the freshest, carefully cooked food arrives at your table, from breakfast through to late afternoon. The menu covers a range of dietary requirements, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free dishes, and the cake counter is stocked with freshly made desserts and sweet treats, including free-from options. On select dates we open for evening meals too.
Good coffee and pots of tea all day, whether you pop in for a quick cup or settle into the lounge with a slice of cake. We also run a bottomless brunch, and takeaway is available if you would rather carry your coffee down to the harbour.

Everyone is looked after here. Kids will find a great toy box in the lounge, well behaved dogs are welcome inside with doggy treats always available, and if the courtyard is full there is plenty of space indoors.
